Deja's Bio
Deja Born Amber O'Bryan on a January 19th 1994 knew from a very young age she wanted to be a pop singer song writer. Raised by a single mother in Minneapolis Minnesota, she was never able to afford piano lessons. But that did not stop this young ambitious girl. She trained herself to play piano by listening to popular music and spending countless hours learning how to play them back on her ninety dollar Target Casio keyboard. It is from that Casio where Deja wrote her first melodic pop single 'Stolen' which is set to be released digitally world wide on July 14th 2009.
She was introduced to Kwame 'KP' the owner of KLAG Records after singing background vocals for another KLAG Records artist show. 'I was told she was fourteen and I did not want to waist my time meeting her' Said 'KP' 'but one of my artist kept on pushing and I agreed... this girl played that piano and sang that song to me and I still have that moment embedded in brain... it was beautiful' Deja is dedicated on charity and giving back to those less fortune. She wants to travel to Africa in 2010 and donated portion of her sales to the fight against Malaria. 'I don't want to write a check... I want to travel to East Africa and hand life saving mosquito nets with my team' said Deja. Deja melodic pop single is set to be released on iTunes, Rhapsody and Amazon. Deja is still in the studio working with producer 'KP' finishing her debut self titled album Deja
